LEWIS HAMILTON silenced his critics by winning the British Grand Prix.

Hamilton has been under increasing pressure after failing to live up to expectations following his breathtaking debut season last year.
But the McLaren ace bounced back in style by taking the chequered flag at Silverstone.
Hamilton finished over a minute ahead of BMW Sauber’s Nick Heidfeld with Rubens Barrichello third in his Honda.
The Brit is now level on points at the top of the standings...
