alright i can see you barca fans and understand your sadness. But matches are not won on possession. yes barca had the lion's share of possession but they severly lacked cutting edge. For all your moaning united made more clear cut chances in the 2 games played.

How can you go about saying utd didn't deserve this. Sir Alex played smart and even when we were defensive in Nou Camp we came close to scoring than Barcelona.

Ronaldo was different yesterday, its not his position to begin with, he was a center forward (leading one), he didn't get enough ball, he played smart and kept it simple rather than taking on the whole team.

It was indeed a more mature and team performance by Ronaldo. Lets keep cheating out of this as Zamboratta was the winner of the diver award, and messi himself has dived a couple of times and used the hand of god. But you guys don't see me criticising him.

The facts are facts and can't be changed for now atleast. United beat Barca, United are in the final, United are 2 games away from Premier League, Ronaldo is English Player of the Year, Ronaldo is the top scorer in England, He is the top scorer in Europe and will be in the running for player of th year award.

Now if i can keep my bias aside and admit that Barca are a wonderful footballing side, but really do lack cutting edge couldn't make 1 decent chance in the 2 legs, where am i insulting them, I am not. Messi is a great player, but he really does lack final product, but he is only 20 and has time on his side, with a better manager his development would be much better. I would also like to go forward and say don't make the mistake of getting Mourinho the guy will seriously hurt the young talents, he has actually managed to fuck up big talents eg, Robben, Mikel and others who signed for chelsea thinking they will improve.

I would really prefer ronaldo to score a goal with his hand than always diving to get free kicks and penalty kicks, anyhow i don't think playing so defensive is a reason to be proud specially for ferguson, but the one who scores wins so we lost and we can't do anything about it.

tbh, i thought barca were better in the first leg but we were better in the second

in both legs, barca never really had any great chances. They pass it a lot and apparently passing it back and forth is beautiful football but they never looked like penetrating united's defense.

United however, counter-attacked and had much better tactics. We defended a bit but what do you want us to do, let you walk past us and score?


basically barca werent clever or flexible enough and fergie got the tactics right on the night.


I also woundnt say ronaldo was pwned. He has 2-3 players on him at all times, which was stupid because it left other areas exposed.

TBH Mauro, Mohammed makes a good point. Barca didn't have anything clear cut yesterday. Ok we did get the odd flash but they weren't real good scoring opportunities IMO. Fair play to United they played with fight and chased everything down. Some may say they played boring at points but TBH that is lies. They set out there stall and when they got an early goal it made it all the easier as they would know Barca will come at them but still fail.

Barcelona is now at the end of a time, where they go next I do not know but one thing is Rjikaard won't be there and tbh if Real win the league this weekend he could be away by then.

Mourinho isn't an option seen as he is off to Internazionale and we shall need to see.

Yea derek but La Liga has been out of our reach for the last 2 games, against deportivo we played with our bench, focusing on the manu game, theo nly team that has a small chance of reaching madrid is villareal, la liga is over for us, matter of fact it has been over a long time ago.
The only reason i wanted mourinho is because he would bring drogba but i hate that dude as much as he hates barca, so i dont really care about him. I'm pretty sure that eto'o will leave, not sure about deco because he still wants to stay another year and as everyone knows dinho is not staying, but we got messi the best player of the world for a long time so that makes me feel better

I think sometimes you just need to accept the fact that the other team beat you. If I were a judge on terms of who deserved it more, I would have said United easily.

Yes gab manu deserved to win because of the moment they are going thru, 1st place for some time, beating arsenal liverpool etc and having great players, but talking on both legs, barca deserved to win specially because we didn't have players with so much reputation besides messi, now if you think manu was better on both legs thats your opinion
