I think you need to have a look at GDs work and see what is good about it to progess are your art. At the moment your stuff is looking too blurry and the effects and colouring are poor. Text also needs to be improved on. I just really think if you want to become a very good artist you have to completely forget about this style, and make one that has a lot more quality about it
