Well, when browsing through some of the comments today i saw a number of them as rather vague. I don't want to target anyone in particular, hence i won't quote any examples.
Here I will just show how to construct a useful comment on how to supply the designer with criticism, praise and advice.
Code:
Step 1 - Praise certain aspects of the artwork.
Step 2 - Criticize (in moderation) to what you dislike of the artwork.
Step 3 - Use you're own view to advise how you would improve what you have criticized.
Step 4 - Anything you have not criticized but you feel could be added to improve the artwork, include it!
Step 5 - Give a brief overall view to what you think of the piece of artwork. E.g. 'Overall great sig!'
Step 6 - Just something to motivate or encourage the designer, especially if you have been heavily critical. Finish off with a conclusion. E.g. 'With those improvements mentioned, this could be fantastic. KIU!'
I know to some this would be pointless, but please use it or at least make it qualitative. My aim is to improve the overall quality in commenting in this forum and remember, this is just as much for you as it is to others. I hope this helped.
PS: Nothing is 'just perfect'. There is advice for everything!
